GREAT ISLAND ASSOCIATES

RULES FOR RENTERS & GUESTS

June 2015

The following rules for guests and renters have been prepared as a convenience to the entire Great Island community. These rules were approved by the unanimous vote of the membership attending the 2015 Annual Meeting.  Please review these rules with the guests and renters who may be staying with you on Great Island.  These rules will also be printed on the new Visitors Passes being printed for the front gate.

  1. The speed limit on the island is 15 MPH
  2. The security gate must be provided with the names of all guests who will be visiting while you are on Great Island.
  3. Please be on the watch for children wherever you drive on the island — they’re everywhere, particularly at the curve on Great Island Road leading to the association dock.
  4. White Gate Beach is only available for use by the members of Great Island Associates, their families, guests, and renters.
  5. No one is allowed to pass beyond the second gate at White Gate Beach for any reason at any time — not on foot, not on bicycles, and not in cars.
